1. Cancellation by Client:
1.1 Before Project Commencement:
- If a Client cancels a project before the Freelancer begins work, a full refund of the project funds may be issued, minus any applicable transaction fees.
- The specific refund amount may vary based on the Site’s fee structure and the payment method used.
1.2 During Project Progress:
- If a Client cancels a project after the Freelancer has commenced work, a partial refund may be issued, based on the work completed by the Freelancer and the agreed-upon milestones.
- The determination of the refund amount will be made by the Site, taking into consideration the Freelancer’s time and effort, and the Client’s satisfaction with the work completed.
- Any dispute regarding the refund amount will be subject to the Site’s dispute resolution process.
1.3 Cancellation Fees:
- The site reserves the right to charge cancellation fees to clients, in order to cover administrative costs, and freelancer compensation. These fees will be clearly communicated before the cancellation is processed.
2. Cancellation by Freelancer:
2.1 Before Project Commencement:
- If a Freelancer cancels a project before starting work, the Client will receive a full refund of the project funds, minus any applicable transaction fees.
2.2 During Project Progress:
- If a Freelancer cancels a project after starting work, the Client may be entitled to a partial refund, based on the work completed.
- The Site will assess the situation and determine the appropriate refund amount, considering the Client’s satisfaction and the Freelancer’s effort.
- Freelancers that excessively cancel projects may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
2.3 Freelancer Liability:
- Freelancers are liable for any damages caused to the client, due to the freelancer’s unwarranted cancellation.
3. Refund Process:
- Refunds will be processed through the Site’s designated payment system.
- The time it takes for a refund to be processed may vary depending on the payment method and the financial institution involved.
- The Site will communicate the refund status to both the Client and the Freelancer.
4. Dispute Resolution:
- In the event of a dispute regarding a cancellation or refund, both the Client and the Freelancer are encouraged to communicate and attempt to resolve the issue amicably.
- If an agreement cannot be reached, the Site may provide a dispute resolution process to help facilitate a fair resolution.
- The sites decision regarding disputes is final.
5. Non-Refundable Items:
- Certain services or fees may be non-refundable, as specified in the project agreement or the Site’s terms and conditions.
- Any fees paid to the site itself are non refundable.
6. Modifications to This Policy:
- We reserve the right to modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time.
- Any changes will be posted on this page, and users are responsible for reviewing the Policy periodically.
- Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Policy.
